Timonium Baby Boomer fitness expert and personal trainer, Stephen Holt, has been named one of five finalists in the Legacy Division of Personal Fitness Professional (PFP) magazine’s 2016 Personal Trainer of the Year award.

This 11th annual award goes to a fitness professional who has contributed significantly and rendered exemplary services in the field of fitness, and who has demonstrated impeccable and strong commitment towards the community, his or her clients and career. For the first time, however, this year’s award is split into two categories: Trailblazer, for newer trainers, and Legacy, for fitness trainers with over 10 years of experience

The award will be presented at the 30th annual Club Industry conference and trade show in Chicago, October 7-9, 2015.

This year’s winner will receive over $7,500 in donations and prizes and will be featured on the cover of PFP and in the “Journey to Success” spotlight in the November-December issue of the magazine. Holt was a finalist the same award in each of the last two years.

Holt is known as “America’s Baby Boomer Fitness Expert,” and is a best-selling author and nutrition and fitness expert who is regularly sought out by the media for fitness and nutrition tips for women over 40.
